![]() While I am still currently working on perfecting controls for HTC Vive Wands (which I will make available to public when done) there is alread a few bind configurations available that let you use touchpad to move. Using the trigger, holding the controller out in front me of is stupid as hell. Controller based movement would be fine if we were using the track pad to move. Single controller based movement isn't perfect, but it's at least easily predictable by the player. If they triangulate your hands and head to create a plane and base the movement on that plane, then you get a better movement setup that allows looking around while moving, without it being tied to your hands, but that's more involved, and has the downside that then moving your right hand at all will cause movement wobble.so you couldn't, for instance, shoot well while moving. Who the hell plays the game with their hand pointed forward the entire time? Oh yay, we have full hand tracking! But only for a single hand because the other one is a glorified analog stick.īecause with controller based movement, you can turn your head to look around as you walk. Smashing The Battle VR is kinda fun in VR. Sublevel Zero Redux is fun and will give you Descent vibes (if you remember that game) SPAZ 2 also doesnt need controllers. Does index headset at least work, maybe its possible to use index headset and vive controllers 2. There you go, all of the Blade and Sorcery controls. Cant select anything in game menu with Vive controllers. Then use the grip buttons to select items in the item menu that appears. Additionally you can open the Item Menu by holding your hand to your chest and pressing A. The game is a bit old and little buggy combining with those new XR gears. The menu button on your right hand opens the Oculus menu if you’re using an Oculus device. ![]()
